Rising Remnants
36 x 48 inches acrylic on canvas
Sometimes we have to catch fire and let it burn away the illusion and confusion that conceals us from our truths. Then, out of the ashes the little trees and buds of life begin to rise up and blossom in ways we never thought possible. The trees that have surrounded us, the strong ones, the ones that are meant to last. Are rooted very deep into the earth and cannot be destroyed in the flames. These trees, our shelter, are here to remain. Only the brush that has blocked our way will be forever reduced to ash in order to clear our path. So that we may continue on our journey so that we may truly know thy self.
Fire isn’t meant to destroy all that is, sometimes fire is meant to cleanse so that we may begin again. Leaving behind, only the strong trees meant to shelter our journey.
